Year of Patience
Well i just found out from the secretary of the Denver Local Spiritual Assembly (LSA), that the National Spiritual Assembly (NSA), based on the guidance of the Guardian, recommends that i complete the year of patience (which ends on June 19th 2007). And that's fine. Oh... Happy Gregorian New Year-- 2007 everyone! So.. my current plan is to move to China in either May or June 2007. I'll postpone my Beijing stint (see previous entry), till another time. And just move straight to Xi'an. Not sure yet though, if i'll just study Chinese or start working right away.
I'm thinking of maybe taking part in Nippon Kan's Uchideshi (live-in student) program for the 2-3 months before i move to China, because it would give me a major boost to my Aikido skills (I'll be a green belt soon, BTW). The question is could my body take it? Because i already feel so sore after just 2 days of classes!
Just talked to Cully in NY tonight, his surgery (for torn ligament in back or shoulder) went well, and he's recovering well, and is enjoying life with his Phillipino girlfriend. My parents are enjoying retirement in Osnabrueck, Germany, and my brother, Olaf, in Berlin, is starting the year looking for a new job. I pray to Baha'u'llah that he can find a good steady job soon!
