Work, movies, Ruhi study circles, and Aikido
Sorry it's been ages, since my last post, probably no one's reading this but me... But just in case... I'm now almost a level 2 Technical Service Representative at Dish Network, here in Denver, Colorado, after 5 months. I'm in the group of Gold agents (2nd best to only Platinum). Working 5 full days a week and 2 half days a week, usually about 52 hours per week. (40 hrs + 12 hrs of over-time that i get paid more for).
When i'm not working, which is not often! I watch movies rented on DVD (Netflix). 3 nights a week i also facilitate Baha'i Ruhi study circles, where we learn more about the Baha'i Faith, and ways to serve humanity better. (More about the Baha'i Faith at http://www.bahai.org
On Thursday and Fridays, usually, i go to Aikido classes, the best of all forms of self defense (it's not really a martial art, so much as a method of self defense). The classes are at the big and very beautiful Nippon Kan Dojo, here in Denver, founded by Gaku Homma Sensei, the last live-in student of the founder of Aikido. More about Nippon Kan, and it's humanitarian-aid wing, AHAN, at http://www.Nippon-Kan.org
I just became a yellow belt! After about 40 (post beginners) classes. The belt order is: white, yellow, green, brown, black. Once you're a brown belt you can start wearing the cool Hakima (baggy Samurai pants). So basically i'm still just a beginner!
I hope you are all well, blessings, Kolya
