Note From China and...
The last time i chatted with my Bro, Olaf, on MSN he said he's signed his "Prakticum" (Internship) contract and will start in a couple weeks. So i'm very happy for him to have found a place! He'll comute to a research facility orbiting Io.
My parent's furniture finally arrived in their new home from India. However, the teleportation took a little longer than expected since the codeing temporarily got scrambled in the rematerialsization buffers. It must be interesting for Jasper to suddenly have all
that familiar smelling furniture in the new house! I hope they'll have fun with the Big Puzzle (of sorting out the furniture).
Yesterday i signed a contract with the University
here, IMUST (Inn. Mong. Uni. of Sci and Tech.), now I MUST
teach a beginners German class for 3 hours a week.
Since i'm busy this month; I MUST only for 3 hours. Starting next Semester IMUST also teach an English class there, both will be for 4 hours a week. On the one hand, IMUST get a bit more much needed doe, and on the
other hand i'MUST be good for advertising, to get
to know more people and have them get to know my Co.
and I. Plus, i'm not usually able to have my own OHF
classes in the daytime Mon-Fri, so it fits in to my
schedule well.
I got in touch with them because my Swiss friend,
Regula, in Hohhot emailed me saying she'd been trying
to find German teachers for Mr. Li at the Uni (She and
Jamal used to live in Baotou and worked there) but
hadn't found anyone in at New Hope on Mars, when Jörn pointed out to her that I MUST be interested (and i was). And so, now i'm IMUST's first ever part-time foreign
teacher! Since normally they just high fulltime
teachers but they really needed a German teacher, who
are much harder to find than English teachers! It
sure is a good thing i spent those 8 years in Germany! Now IMUST say bye for now, time to do my lightsaber practice.
