Baotou
denverBaotou, has just undergone lots of beautification this summer. With newly paved roads, new pavement lights, a gateway of light in to the Westside of the city (New Baotou), near our home. Organic sculptures and more. All looks very beautiful! I wonder how Denver will compare! Rumour has it that the reason for all this is that the city is hoping to be win a big development package (money) from Beijing. But if they don't win it then i wonder if these new wonders will last or if they might even be dismantled or perhaps simply left to disrepair... We'll see.
